So I have a question for everyone. See, I've been on birth control for two months now. My doctor told me that after a month, the birth control would have kicked in. However, I'm having a lot of pregnancy symptoms. I am going to the bathroom a lot, I am tired all the time, I get frequent headaches, and every night I've been getting nauseas for no apparent reason. Now, my last period was June 17, so I only have a few days left until I know if my period is late or not, but I was wondering if anyone thinks it could be a possibility. Any help would be much appreciated. By the way, the birth control I'm on is Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. Please help me.

Could just be your body adjusting to the pill. Pregnancy and PMS symptoms are so similar... Best thing would be to take a test.

Try taking a test. I've heard about issues with the Tri cyclen lo though... good luck

What kind of issues did you hear about with it?

I was on Tricyclene Lo for several years, and never had any problems with it

I was on tri-cyclin lo too and I didn't have any issues except after 3 years it started not being compatible with me anymore.

Being on the pill is very much like pregnancy symptoms. Also, don't freak out if your period IS late on those pills because it does take a few months to get adjusted. Take a test if you are worried though.

ALSO. I have heard of cases where you can still get your period WHILE pregnant if you're on the pill and don't know about it. The drs thought this was the case when they thought I was further along.

Most likely it is just your body getting used to be on birth control. If you really are worried take a test and let us all know.

It is likely that your body is still adjusting to the pill, especially if you're getting symptoms such as headaches, tiredness etc. However, you're best to test just to be sure. Have you always taken your pill correctly, each day etc? Or have you been sick at all whilst taking it, or taken any other medication, such as antibiotics? All these things can affect the pills effectiveness.
xx
