Post-surgery gift question (anyone who has ever undergone surgery)

My boss will be undergoing a knee replacement surgery next week and I wanted to put together a "Get well" basket for her. Do you have any ideas for what sort of things I can put in the basket she would find most useful?

This is also to people who have just undergone surgeries in general, what sort of things kept you occupied or if you were on bedrest what made it a bit easier?

When I was recovering I loved lots if glossy mags, easy puzzles and books etc.

Maybe look at a pillow or hospital socks (espesh if she's on bedrest) to help and make it easier.
