post tubal question...

DD just turned 2 months on the 14th and i just had my tubal ligation on the 15th. I woke up this morning to cramping and dark red blood. Is this my peroid or effects after the tubal? I'm leaning towards period especially since it's about the time i should start. Forgot to mention i haven't had a period yet since delivery and I know it's nor full proof, but I breadtfeeding.

Another question...
Is is normal to feel some type of way after surgery? Im not regretting my decision because it's what I wanted and WE don't want any more children, but the fact that it's permanent slightly bothers me...it's like i feel trapped, like i can't make any more decisions for myself. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of enjoying sex with Dh without the idea of getting pregnant or having to be on that dreaded Mirena again, but everything just feels out of my control. Anyone else felt that way after their surgery?

i would say it is your first period i have had 2 tubals yes 2 as it doesnt have to be permanent. I would say it is very normal to feel a little sad to never be pregnant again even if you know without a shadow of a doubt you don't want to have any more kids. and when you are not in control with it can be harder. it is fabulous not to worry about BC ever again I actually asked my doc to take my uterus as i knew i wasn't going to use it again as why have my period for the next 10 or more years, but she wouldn't.
