basically to cut it short cos i dnt think i can waste more time typing it out to get noreplies.

im only 90% sure that FOB is actually the father although he thinks hes 100%. bad i know.

i contacted his parents saying i have to contact them cos fob wont talk to me, has ignored and blocked me.

i feel like asking if they will provide a dna sample because i need to know once and for all if he is the dad or not. however they have NO idea lucas even exists.

how can i ask them this, or should i even

Why dont you just ask the other bloke for an sample to test against, if its not his then it would be the FOB ?

Tbh, I wouldnt personally ask the grandparents for a sample. Maybe try and use shock tactics and tell the FOB that you will contact them if he doesnt provide one ... hopefully that will make him give one...

But I wouldnt actually go through with it spesh as your not a 100% sure he is the father, could cause alot of upset ..

do the parents know who you are? were you with the fob for a long time ...
Maybe if your on friendly terms then say something ..

But then if the FOB thinks hes 100 the father, how is he going to react to you asking for a sample?

Do you guys have a system there where you can require him to do a DNA test? In the US, we can go through court to sub poena their DNA, it is the first step in collecting child support...maybe you can make him do that?

This is a tough situation. Just want you to know that I (and most girls I know) could have had it happen to us at some point in time, I have been with more than one guy in the span of a couple of months before, thankfully I didn't get pregnant but could have - so don't feel bad. Hope it works out for you!

Contact CSA and give them the name and details of one of the possible fathers (choose which). They will contact the prospective FOB and get him to do a DNA test. He is unlikely to refuse because if he does, they will automatically garnish his wages/income, even without knowing for certain if he is the father, iykwim.

ive always avoided the csa because ive heard they take ages but i guess itll be quicker than me doing nothing! thanks

They didn't take ages for me. Although my case was pretty striaght forward. You will get there eventually

yeh u need to get in touch with the csa...
i was hopin to do things outside of csa because i'd also heard that they take their time.
but them takin ages to get it done is better than it never gettin done!
hope u get everythin sorted.
i've also recently contacted my fob's family as fob is ignorin me... they are also ignorin me... what a lovely family!
