Postpardum update and baby pictures :)

I know this isn't the place to post, but I wanted to update on how baby Leon and I are doing!

So, at 2 weeks post pardum, I have 2 more pounds to lose. they are the hardest to lose for me, the rest of the weight literally poured off. I do have some stretch marks, but it's not as bad as it could be. I look at them as my well earned tiger stripes. lol...
here is a picture of my 1 week pp belly. (Im even smaller now but I have Leon laying on my chest right now, so Im too comfy to wake him and take a newer picture.. )

I decided to formula feed instead of breast feed. I tried it, and since my body is very sensitive to hormone changes, the hormones that cause milk to come in were causing me to show signs of pp depression (which I didnt like at all). so as soon as my milk started to dry up, I felt much better mentally. It clearly was the best choice for me and my newborn to be happy. I am sad that I couldn't breastfeed, because thats what I really wanted to do, but unfortunately it wasnt for me..
Leon's cord stump fell off at 1 week old. He has already had a growth spurt and is in size 1 diapers.. He is growing wayyy too fast!! X.X He smiles when I give him kisses and is already on a schedule (wakes up at 12am, 4am, and then 8am... during the day, its every 4 hours, give or take an hour.) He also has tried to hold his bottle on many occasions, succeeding twice! He is such a good baby, and is constantly flirting with ladies when we go out
I keep his head full of hair in a mohawk, and it has became his "look". He is the most beautiful thing Ive ever seen, and I fall more and more in love every day..

Awww congratulations! just a note to say every mum gets the baby blues when their milk comes in. Its not pnd unless it doesn't go away after a few weeks or so. Sorry I don't mean to make you feel bad as I ff no.1 due to lots of issues but I'd hate for any first time mum not to know it's normal to feel down a bit ay first.

OMG his last picture is like a little baby clothes model or something. He has the nicest baby hair I have ever seen. Hes also a handsome boy! What a lucky mom! ;-) Too bad my babies come out BALD.

y'all are too sweet! And I have no idea where his hair came from, because i was born bald too! haha I can say, though, that the wives tale about heartburn was true for me. I was vomiting stomach acid every night! lmao

Interesting!! I didnt have it last time but this time my doctor today just put me on pepcid twice a day because it just got so bad! Maybe shes growing hair, how lovely would that be!

In the meantime if she is bald look what I found!

AWWW i was wondering how you were doing!! WHat a beautiful little boy and you look amazing as well!!! Dont feel bad about bf. ff babies are just as healthy as bf babies!!!! I agree so far about the heartburn too lol. I had some with my daughter and she had decent amount of hair. My son i had no heartburn and he just had peach fuzz lol but with this one i have more heartburn then my daughter so we shall see how much hair she has when she is born!

Had to stalk to see more pics! Hes beautiful! I teared up seeing his pictures (I get emotional around newborns now) Hes so tiny I love it..good job hun! Don't feel bad about not being about to breast feed its better you be happy feeding him formula than miserable while breast feeding.

Already in size ones?! What a chunker! Good job mom!
