posts not being counted

my post numbers dont seem to be changing ??
they seem to stick for a few days then suddenly jump, is this normal

Could it be tht you are posting in the sections that have post counts turned off?

Certain sections do have the post counts turned off ... just for fun and the groups section have it turned off. Its on everywhere else though.

Are you posting more in those sections perhaps?

The groups section and the just for fun section have it turned off .. those are the only two

i didnt know they had the post counts turned off! i got bored witht them anyway...think it was when people started replying to themselves
