I went off birth control in early May and have had two regular periods since then (one in June, one in July). I anticipated starting my period Monday but have not yet....I took a test on Tuesday and it was negative. Should I take another or just assume that this is irregularity from coming off my birth control?

I was in a similar situation this cycle too. I had a regular cycle in July after coming off BCP in June. I was expecting to start my period on the 30th of July but it was a no show. Tested, BFN and AF showed on the 2nd August.
It could be your body is still adjusting and getting back into the swing of things but on the other hand you could be pregnant, right? Give it another few days, it's not over til AF shows her face. Best wishes x
