Just wondering if anyone has any advice. Here's the situation...
My DD is almost 3. She is potty trained and doesn't wear a diaper for naps because we haven't had an accident in forever.....however....pooping is a whole other story. She's done it in the potty like 7 or 8 times..so I know she knows how to do it..but for the most part the only time she poops is in her sleep at night. We have to keep a pull up on her at night because it's like she's not even aware she's doing it!! She's devastated when she wakes up and realizes she's pooped and she cries and gets embarrassed and tells us not to come in the room or if I go in she'll say "don't tell daddy ok?" So I know she knows it's wrong...but how do I break the pooping in the sleep? We've tried waking her around 11pm but she won't poop...we can tell she "has" to go and she toots like crazy but we just can't get her to go!! Any advice would be appreciated!!!
