i've got a delima, DD is getting almost hysterical when she needs to loo, she is 14 months and will run up to me tugging on my leg, squeaking and dancing and getting very worked up.

i've just realised that this is when she needs to loo, i was thinking about starting a loose for of potty training, well, more let her lead the way and if she wants to use the potty/toilet she can. If not then no big deal.

is this a wise idea, number 2 is due in a few months and i don;t want anything to knock her, she is getting very independant, insists she walks when we are out, must feed herself and has started to help tidy up etc.

I'd give it a go if she;s showing signs of being ready. Yes maybe baby number 2 will knock her back a bit but like you say let her lead the way.

thanks, i just thought 14 months may be seen as too early

If people can use Elimination Communication from newborn (which I know isn't potty training as such, but it's similar) then I say 14 months is absolutely reasonable!

Good luck :)
