Hi,
I know there are sooooooooooo many threads on prams / travel systems

But I need some help and advice....

I had made up my mind on the Silver Cross 3D - but reading reviews I am now doubting my choice.

Need something small ish as I have a fiesta - I love the 3D cause the pram lies so flat and looks so snug....

So, I am looking for something that lies completely flat - Preferably a travel system.... A forward and back facing pushchair would be a bonus....

Any suggestions ladies???

I fell in love with the babystyle oyster but have only seen it on the internet so far. it has 3 different car seats to fit it but you will have to buy them seperatley.

I think I'm going for the babystyle oyster in Ocean & maxi cosi cabriofix with the iso fix base. I'm hoping somewhere will do me a deal :)

havent got any suggestions as i ended up buying 4 different pushchairs with my son! (i have a double pushchair for this baby!) but wanted to say have fun pram shopping!! xx

Found pram shopping very hard this time, not very many prams that I actually liked !!

In the end I have went for the Silver Cross surf, expensive but it is suitable from birth, carseat attaches and it folds down small for small boots! ( I have a people carrier so size didnt matter to me ) but its a great design, looks very modern and ticks all the boxes for what I was looking for :)

Best of luck xxx

Oh and just to add .. My 2 sisters both had the silver cross 3D and altho it looks great they both had problems with theirs, and they are quite heavy & hard to push in my opinion .. but there plenty of people that swear by the 3D so have fun shopping xxx

I have a very small car and my Quinny Buzz fits perfect!!

I didn't really look at many others, I liked the look of the Quinny the reviews came across well and it fits my car!

I would take reviews with a pinch of salt...I find anything I look at reviews of there are both good and bad points...just think of the bad points and whether they actually bother you or not??

One of the cons of the Quinny is a small shopping basket! Couldn't bother me any less as I'm not a bigger shopper....so to me not a negative as long as I can stick a bit of shopping is all I'm bothered about!!!

Good luck! I would most definitely go in with a couple of models in mind....when we went to our mothercare store there were HUNDREDS!!!! Enough to bewilder anyone...luckily we went in with the mind to look at one in the flesh and providing it ticked the boxes we hoped then that was the one!!!

Enjoy!!!

i got the condor all in one, looks big and bulky when its up but folds like a stroller. comes with car seat, lay flat pram and rain covers/cosey toes

Ive gone for the icandy apple! I just loved the look of it and it was so easy to push and steer! Maxi cosi cabriofit car seats attach to it but you need the adaptors. Also got the lie flat carrycot. X

Just got mine today. UPPAbaby vista and a maxi cosi pebble. Quite expensive but I fell in love with it. I have a fiesta and it just fits in the boot. On it's side if I take the parcel shelf off or flat if I take a wheel off but there is room for the bassinet at that too. To be honest I'll probably take the shelf off because it's easy to do.

Thanks everybody - I ended up going for the I-candy cherry with maxi cosi car-seat... Fell in love with it........... Ordered it in black... So light, easy to push and compact when folded down... And sooooooooooooo easy to take apart and put back together....
Definitely recommend John Lewis - They were fab - Soo helpful and full of knowledge.....

I get mine today!:happydance:
I have the Jane Trider here it is

we are currently looking at the silver cross surf, it lays flat and turns into a front facing pushchair, can have either silver cross car seat attached or maxi cosi car seat with adaptors. And you can buy a carry cot if you think you'll need it (which we don't think we will). We're also looking at the bugaboo bee+, this is very similar to the surf but folds down smaller and is lighter, but you can’t get a carry cot, also takes the maxi cosi car seat, lies down flat and turns into front facing pushchair when needed.

Both have had good points and reviews on this thread I posted https://www.babyandbump.com/pregnan...ing-second-trimester-advise.html#post12922800

We have got the silver cross 3d hope we dont regret it, I didnt read any reviews til i ordered it from the mothercare baby plan :/

Hi Katie,
I was adament I was getting the silver cross 3d - I did change my mind after reading reviews - But like someone else said, it's not always best idea to read them...... For you re-assurance, my friend has the 3d and is loving it and has no complaints at all.......

I had the 3d for my daughter. I first got the silver cross sleepover but it was big and heavy and the seat has to come off to be folded down which was a pain with a small car so I bought a 3d when she was a couple of months old and got on really well with it. Didn't have any probs with mine and I love the way it umbrella folds for storage.

I'm wondering whether to use it again for this baby or buy something new - just for the sake of buying something new because I still love my 3d.

I've had loads of pushchairs my dh is dreading my next purchase lol

With my dd I got the Quinny buzz - loved the fact it was a great travel system. But as soon as I started using the pushchair seat with the chassis I absolutely hated it!!! It was awful and so bulky when folded. I then bought a zapp just for the chassis to sit the car seat on as I sold the buzz to a pg lady in mothercare lol - I almost got my money back! Something else that bugged me was silly things like the parasol clips you have to buy to fix the parasol onto the chassis - they are quite frankly rubbish - with a little wind they come off!!

I had a silver cross - very similar to the mamas and papas pramette - liked it but wanted an off roader lol so sold that to my friend and bought an urban detour - fantastic pushchair!

I then got a Luna m&p - still love this pushchair and my daughter if poorly still fits in it at just turned 4 yrs old.

This time with my wealth of experience lol I really like the oyster - I've only seen it online so far and from a distance in the school playground - it looks great and folds small!!
I also like the sola m&p and the switch m&p

Happy shopping and be careful you don't waste as much money as I did (pre recession I may add - I'd never be allowed to swap and change this time lol!)

Make sure you try the pc in your car boot and have somebody fit the car seat and add up all the accessories as these make a huge difference to your bill!!!
