So excited!

My OH and I chose our pram at about 25 weeks and as my folks were paying for it we had them give their opinion before putting down a deposit.

Anyway Dad wasnt able to come over and as the pram was in the sale mum saw it, loved it and put the money down.

Dad saw it in the book and didnt like it as its a travel system not a pram but appreciated that we live in a flat and drive etc etc.

Anyhoo Dad went to the shop yesterday and the lady gave him a demonstration and he liked it so much he's paid the balance due and has rearranged the delivery so that it arrives in the next week or so rather than the 29th Feb.

I'm so excited. Its starting to feel real now and I'm getting emotional.

This is the first baby and grandchild and I love seeing my parents finally getting excited :happydance: after having their hearts broken when I miscarried my last two pregnancies

Oh and the pram/travel system is the mothercare Trenton Deluxe.

Pointless thread I guess but wanted to share the joy lol :haha:

I got excited when we got ours too! Enjoy!

Awwww how lovely! I remember picking out our pram i was so excited and pushing it round the shop i was picturing my baby in there and got all emotional!

Awww - MIL paid for ours and it was delivered about 5 weeks ago to their house but OH won't let me bring it home to the flat :( Boo.

Yay for the pram!!!!!!!

i can't wait to get ours, and have picked it and everything, however my in laws are paying for it so like you have to wait until they see it and agree, trouble is OH wont pull his finger out and get his mum to view it.

I wont be having it at ours either. Its the one superstition I really believe in (my friend last summer had hers at home and sadly doesnt have a baby to put in it anymore)

It just adds to the excitement when the baby is here :happydance:

Well I'm obviously conscious of not upsetting people but she gave birth to her daughter 4 days before her due date. Everything was fine, natural birth, but baby just didnt breathe. They said "she was not compatible with life".
I believe they have since had a PM but my friend is unable to talk to me given I am due to have my little girl soon. Its too much for her.
I understand so I'm jut waiting for her to be ready. I have heard via the grapevine that she is infact pregnant again with twin boys however so theres a double ray of sunshine on its way to her xx

I don't think it was because she had the pram at home, however I shall indeed leave mine where it is!!! :flower: I went round and played with it at MIL's house and attached some of the pram toys lol

I love your pram choice  sorry to hear about your previous 2 miscarriages  but congratulations on your LO

I am getting my pram home next week thanks to my sure start grant  no one helped me with getting my pram  but I have said when I get it home that I want to push it to my mums around the corner to test drive it :haha:

I love it when the parents get excited :flower: This is my mum and dads 2nd grand child and my in laws 10th!!!! My first baby and my OHs second!! :flower:

Good luck x

I intend to "pimp" mine when it arrives with toys etc lol
I have an image in my head of a frosty sunny day where me and OH are wrapped up and baby is in her carrycot asleep all tiny and cosy and we go to feed the ducks. Then we'll pop into the local coffee shop for hot chocolates to warm up and snuggle the baby before walking home. I live in a fantasy world clearly but having the pram just makes me one step closer :happydance:

Just to let you know that pram is really heavy and bulky and I hope you've checked it fits in your boot! Wouldn't fit in my OHs boot we took it back and got the my4 instead! Love it so much more! But if the trentons your thing hope you love it!
