Pre-Eclampsia with previous pregnancy?

Hello Everyone,

I ended up with pre-eclampsia during my last pregnancy and ended up having a csection a week early due to it.

Has anyone ever had pre-exlampsia for a pregnancy and had another baby after? Did you end up having it again? Any experiences?

If my memory is right you are at a higher risk of the condition having had it before and depending on how soon you had the symptoms in your previous pregnancy.

I would discuss options with your GP.

Discuss with your doctor. I had severe pre-e and delivered at 33 weeks with my first.

I had PIH (although I think it was anxiety induced) with my second and was induced at term, no pre-e. I took low dose aspirin from 13 weeks.

I have not been diagnosed with either this pregnancy, I took low dose aspirin from 15 weeks to 36 weeks - Still pregnant.
