Pre preg/post preg belly thread :)

OMG!! when i first saw this thread a tiny bit of me thought, hmm maybe ill be brave and put some up, but looking at how amazing you all look no way!! why doesnt anyone have stretchmarks as bad as mine?!?! or the flabbyness for that matter. noone so far has been anything like mine i feel like im never gonna get (somewhat) normal again, garrrr!!!

awwww babynewbie, I'm sure you look fab. We all tend to be really hard on ourselves and focus on the negatives. you only had your little boy a few short weeks ago, I know I only really started to notice that I was losing weight properly a couple of weeks ago. I refused to have any pics taken of my as looking at them made me cry but I'm starting to mind a bit less now. You'll get there

I don't have any recent ones showing my tummy. I'll try and take some later on.

Luckily I don't have any strechmarks, well not from pregnancy I have a couple on my hips from eating too much Ben and Jerry's as a teenager. I am determined to get my flat tummy back, but I haven't done any exercise yet and I have been housebound due to post birth complications so I'm hoping that walking around everyday and excerising properly will tone it up. Well I can live in hope!

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised that my tummy has gone almost back to normal (6wks after birth). It's quite clearly never going to be the same again (it's a bit more jellified now and covered in stretchmarks) but none the less its nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be

I was really surprised that I look the same now than I did before I was pg! The skin is looser - you can really tell if I am sitting, but I couldn't have imagined that I would be so lucky! My little guy was born a month early though, so I didn't get that big. My linea nigra is still there - and I am really hoping it doesn't go away! I wonder what will happen after the next one???

The first is at 20w pregnant, second at 36w pregnant (the day before Bun was born) and the last at 2 months post-pg, though I have looked the same for a while now.

pre pregnancy i was 8 stone 4lb

Heaviest at end of pregnancy i was 11 stone

Post partum i weighed myself a few days ago and i'm currently 9stone 4lb. i put the weight loss down to hospital food for 3 weeks.lol

sorry the last 2 are the wrong way round
