preg with endo???

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had been pregnant while having endo. The reason I ask is because i'm curious as to what the pregnancy was like? Did you have to take any special precautions?? I have two friens who have been preg with endo and both had to have bedrest and some sort of hormones which helped to keep the baby in.

My mom was diagnosed with endo when she was 18, and got pregnant with me at 19. I had never thought that her endo could have been part of why she almost lost me (premature labor, by a miracle I ended up staying in). With my brother, everything was fine. All I've ever heard from doctors though is that it should actually help stall endo, prevent it from progressing for a while.

Progesterone is commonly prescribed now because it helps everyone.

i'm on 3rd baby and suffer with really bad endo. i dont take any medication etc but i do see either consultant or MW every 2-3weeks from early on. i ended up on bed rest from 28weeks with my eldest and they tried to get the same with youngest but trying to look after a 2yr old as well it doesnt work.

i did get pre-eclampisa with them which didnt help. they said after my 2nd that i would be very lucky if i ever concieved again and IF i did i may not make it past 12weeks. well i have but they dont think i will go full term and are going to do a hysterctomy after baby is born (not straight away though).

my sister also has endo and she has been told that she will never have children because of how servere hers is (she had it since she was 15 - now 32), and has had loads of lazer surgery over the yrs and only has 1 tube that works.
