Pregnancy after 1st MC...

Hi Ladies,

I had a MC on the 15th September at 7w4d, i've used the Clear Blue ovulation tests & o' on the 27th/28th. We would like to conceive straight away but just want nature to do its thing.

I just wanted some advice from anyone who has got pregnant after this? Guess i'm looking for a few stories to give me & my partner hope!!

hey there was just reading ur thread and thought i would tell u a bit about me, i had a m/c on the 21 june and was pregnant by the 23rd of july and everything is going well gd luck sweetie. i lost mine at nearly 12 weeks but we knew for a long time something was wrong. i had keyhole surgery 3 scans .. was a very bad time for us. was totally shocked that we was pregnant just 4 weeks later! wish u all the best and don't give up xx

Hi Babycake,

We had a missed Misscarriage at around 8 weeks, but we only discovered at the scan at nearly 14 weeks...This was on the 30th June, and we opted for a medically managed miscarriage which took place on the 3rd July. I had my next period exactly 5 weeks later on the 7th August...we decided to wait a month, then start trying again...9th September was my next period and my last

We concieved 1 cycle after trying!! Good luck hun xx

I've never been on a site like this before & i've found it really tough to get information from the doctor on trying again. Its really great to have people in the same boat to talk to!

I never thought for 1 minute that i might loose my baby & in a way i'm still shocked that it happens to so many others. The worst thing is my best friend has just announced she's pregnant & our babies would have been only a week apart - i'm happy for her, but just feel so sad at the same time.

I had a mc at 7-8 weeks - I obviously don't know why but I have PCOS and often wonder if this is the cause.

I didn't try the next cycle as was seeing a consultant about my pcos but we half heartedly tried on the 2nd cycle and after that went in to TTC project overdrive - OH and I took prenatal vits, MACA, used CBFM, sperm meets egg plan, softcups - including the 1st 2 cycles I caught on cycle 5.

gd luck sweetie, remember there have been studies done that have been proven that if you fall pregnant in the first 6months that you are more likely to have a pregnancy reach full term and also you don't have to wait at all! its been all over the news that you can try straight away. gd luck again, sending you baby dust xx

I got pregnant straight after a MC done it several times. Think some how its easier to get pregnant......

my AF arrived for the first time post MC yesterday - me & OH are trying to keep positive & start the counting for the next month. - we were gutted last night but i know that won't help us!!

So... ladies what are your tips for TTC -- we've bought the Clear Blue digital smily tests (we did it last mouth & got the smily faces - but no joy) & Sasmar conceive +, i've been taking folic acid too?

For me it was the cbfm, The sperm meets egg plan, softcups, concieve plus and highly organised sex - as well as ensuring my body was as ready as possible and OH was healthy - therefore producing healthy sperm

i booked a boob job lol sounds funny but i stopped focussing on it. and it has happened. i was meant to have my boob job in june and found out in may that i was pregnant so i cancelled it. and then i lost the baby in june.. was crushed. so i decided to rebook it and i fell pregnant straight away .. gd luck xx

Hey, I mc at 7 and a half weeks also in April. I waited a month to start trying again as risk of another mc is higher. It took 5 months for me to get pg again. Sorry for your loss and good luck x

I miscarried on Aug 14 at 8 weeks. . . Got my first period Sept 16, and conceived around Oct 1 - only 1 cycle. I don't think that miscarriage makes it harder to conceive; I think that if it was easy the first time it will be easy again. Good luck to you!

Hi Ladies, thanks for your messages

So, did you try anything special to get pregnant - i know it may sound like we are super paranoid as we have only tried for 1 month post MC but my partner is now worried he may have a low sperm count or something & BD every other day might make it worse/harder to get a BFP
... i keep telling him that last time i was on the pill & it still happened.

We just want to try anything this month to help!! + my AF took 41days to appear, i'm hoping that may settle down to something more normal this time!
My fingers are crossed!!!

keeping you and oh healthy - organic foods, his and her pre-natal vits. We took MACA too, I was going to try royal jelly but got pg - all to encourage best quality sperm and eggs and best environment for LO to implant.

As far as getting pg - we used sperm meets egg plan, cbfm and softcups.

I had a mc naturally at 12 weeks in march and had 2 periods in between before i got my bfp. I found it crushing everytime it didnt happen but i found that the one time i stopped thinking about it, it happened. Personally i believe people wont get pregnant again until your body thinks your mind can cope. Which is obviously different for everybody. Just the way it went for me. Good luck
