Hello Ladies,

Its been a while since I have been in here, but I was hoping for some insights.

In Feb 2011, I had an ectopic pregnancy in my right tube and had emergency surgery to remove the pregnancy. The tube had not ruptured so at that time it was left in.

In November 2013, I had a second ectopic pregnancy in the same tube. Even thought it was not ruptured, the Dr. decided to remove it this time.

My question is, and please forgive me if it seems dumb but:

Is there any way that I could run into the same issue again even though the tube was removed? Im not sure if it was just the damaged portion that was removed or the entire tube. I cannot go through another heartbreak :(

Thank you all in advance for your adivce. <3

Sorry didnt want to read n go.. gave your page a bump.. hopefully someone can offer some advice.. im sorry but as I have not experienced this I wouldnt know.. But I would say because you have another tube you stand a good chance of getting pregnant.. a lot of women have 1 tube removed and go onto having a normal pregnancy at a later time.. I think the Dr's may of removed it all as they didnt want to risk it blocking again? ring the dr who done it and ask.. :)

Good luck! :D

So sorry for both your losses :hugs:

I had my left tube removed earlier this week because of an ectopic. I just spoke to my dr this morning and by coincidence I asked her this very question :) I asked if my chance of having another ectopic is increased, would I be more likely to get one now in my right tube or would my chance be lower because I no longer have a left tube? Unfortunately she said my chance is increased, I could get one in my right tube or I could even get one in the small part of my left tube that is attached to my uterus (they removed the whole tube but I guess they can't remove this part), this was a shock! I kinda knew I was at an increased risk of getting an ectopic in my right tube now but I wasn't expecting that it was still possible to get one in my left tube when I thought it was all gone! :growlmad: sorry I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear :( I wish we didn't have to go through this :hugs:
