I had a baby in January @ 33.5 due to uterine rupture after previous section. I got a very faint bfp on a test this morning. I am scared that I may rupture again. Has anyone been through this?

That's a toughie with them being close. Speak to your doctor ASAP. :hugs:

Trying to find a new dr. My last one wouldn't listen to me so I went to hospital & less than an hour later I had EMCS. I had a 6cm rupture along previous section scar.

I had a csection with my daughter who was born in Nov. and 10 weeks later got pregnant with baby 2. I have never had a rupture but did go throughn 3 drs. to find one who was very educated on the risks of being pregnant so close and I am wanting a vbac this time around as well. She said that ruptures are very rare and has never been heard of around where I live. Now I don't know the risk of a rupture in someone who has ruptured before I would just try to find a dr you can trust and feel comfortable with. I see a midwife and she has a back up high risk dr. that also does visits and ultrasounds with me.

im not exactly in the same situation as you i was rushed down to theatre with scar pain when i was in labour and when they opened me up my scar was on the verge of bursting it was so thin it was see thru my daughter was only 4 months old when i fell pregnant again and so far ive had no answers off doctors midwifes etc as they cant predict what will happen :/ they just told me that they will monitor me closely .im currently 17 weeks pregnant xx

I have never experienced a rupture BUT, while discussing vbac and elective sections with my doctor, she did state that given I had a c section before, they wouldn't allow me to go past 38-39 weeks due to risk of rupture but they would keep an eye out. Given you had a previous rupture, I would think they would make sure to keep an eye on you and schedule you for early delivery.

My rupture was @ 33w 5d. I am so scared to have another preemie. I am hoping to find a specialist, but in this area that will be hard to find. Thanks for the replies.
