Seriously. It's like a light bulb went off to alert my body 'eat eat eat'...as soon as I turned 14 weeks!!!
I'm soooo hungry all the time right now!!
I've already gained a good chunk of weight, since I was stuffing my face to keep the nausea at bay...so thankfully my cravings have gone from wanting junk to now wanting huge bowls of salad!! (I totally think I'm having another girl-this is what I craved with my daughter)
Anyways...what are you ladies craving?!!
This morning I had sweet potato hash, with eggs and guac.
For lunch I had homemade rice wraps with a ton of veggies rolled up, and a balsamic dressing.
For dinner I'll be making spicy Thai chicken soup (easiest recipe ever!!)
I'm seriously obsessed with food and since I have my energy back(thank the lord)!!! I now feel like cooking!! My husband and kids are happy about this too! Lol!

Ok tell me what are you craving!!!!

Ooooh, can I come to your house to eat? I'm craving green juice like CRAZY for the past few weeks! It has ginger, apple, kale, spinach, cucumber, parsley and lemon in it. My husband buys it from a juice bar here, in 64 oz. which I finish in 3 days. I think my baby might come out green and smelling like ginger. :haha: I am also really enjoying hard boiled eggs and cheerios this week. Pregnancy is so weird! I like all of these things in moderation but I seriously can't get enough.

Also, could you please post the recipe for the spicy Thai soup? :hugs:

Only thing i crave is ice cubes
And its been the same for 3 out of 4 of my pregnancies. Im hungry all the time now though, can't seem to get enough food.

Hey!! Here is my spicy Thai chicken soup recipe, so good and easy! You will just have to find a good curry paste that you like to use. I'm in Canada so we use a specific brand, I'm not sure where you live but most places you can find a yummy curry paste at an Asian market, or a grocery store with an international section.

Here is the link to the recipe and my food blog;)

It seems I always crave the same in pregnancy. With my son and this baby. But this time around my cravings are definitely stronger and I had no MS so I had cravings as early as 6 weeks. Luckily pretty much all foods I crave are healthy foods that even fit into my Paleo type diet...which is odd because non pregnant I definitely crave a lot of junk too. Cravings:

Sushi
Cured Ham
Salami
Brie cheese and the like
Eggs
Full fat dairy (milk, yoghurt, heavy cream)
Bacon and Beef
Liver and Bloodsausage
Soups and Bone broth with egg drops
Garlic and Onion
Mandarin Oranges and Apple Sauce
Chicken and Duck Skin
Lamb
Carrots
Butter, I always eat lots but I do crave it more
Olives and Spicy Peppers

Usually I crave lots of sweet stuff and would eat chocolate here and there but not so much in pregnancy.

I'm already overweight and I wanted to keep my weight down this pregnancy, which I have thus far (9 pounds only!). But it gets rougher every day to try and eat healthy. I want fried fish sandwiches, McChickens from McDonalds, and basically any and everything that's bad for you. I want to keep my weight gain around 20 pounds, but man, I'm just so HUNGRY.

The other day I ate pretzels and green olives together. So weird.

I've had some cravings for a while, luckily nothe junk food so far.
My cravings are
Pickled beetroot and onions (I can demolish a full large jar in 1 or 2 days)
Recently really wanting tuna but know I have to limit this
And my unhealthy craving right now is melted cheese like on chips or baked potato, just love it

I just want strong black coffee. All the time. I never drink hot drinks.

And chicken super noodles.

I'm always hungry too! As soon as MS eased off and vomiting stopped at 15 weeks all i wanted to do was eat!

.

Thank you so much!! :hugs:

Yep- I'm watching master chef junior and they were making cream puffs.. I then proceeded to spend 30 minutes on google trying to find somewhere in my area that sells cream puffs... Cravings are a real thing!

I hate mayonnaise beyond belief, and any type of seafood, but today I had to have a tuna sandwich mixed with mustard instead of mayo. So good!

watermelon oh my goodness i get through a whole one in a day and a half also corn on the cob with butter and salt

I've having opposite stuff going on.

First tri I longed for mac and cheese or fruit and a few other small things.

I'm 15 weeks and lately nothing sounds good. Nothing. I have to remind myself to eat and it all just doesn't sound pleasant. I'm never hungry (unless I let myself go too long and then I'm suddenly DYING hungry, shaky nauseous etc... but then i REALLY don't want to eat, and I have to shove something down my throat, lol)

I satisfied my cravings recently :happydance:

Despite the ban on Sushi being lifted I got a lot of dirty looks though . Though ordering "Decaf Iced Americano" seems just as weird to people ;).

That's too bad you got dirty looks! I was visiting home where sushi is everywhere and I had 4 different meals of tons of sashimi and not one person looked at me twice! I don't think the ban is lifted in the States, either. I figure I'm more likely to get food borne illness from spinach or Chipotle than highly regulated sushi in a restaurant

My MS has finally started getting better, I only feel nauseous in the evenings now or if I go without eating for too long. No more vomiting since Tuesday.:)

But I'm so hungry now it's ridiculous. I need two breakfasts with snacks in between.

I seem to be craving red meat products, and I'm usually not a big fan. I even had McD the other day, just really wanted a big mac.. I'm also loving eggs and crumpets at the moment. Wish I'd be craving something healthy instead! Luckily I've at least gone off crisps and fizzy drinks so could be worse.

In Japan no one would look twice either. Sushi and Sashimi are a pregnancy health food :).
There was a new study saying Sushi is safe and a few months ago I found a gov. source that comfirmed this. But I have trouble finding it now. Not sure if it was changed. It was based on new research and said that pregnant women can safely enjoy raw Sushi from a quality establishment because of the high safety standards and flash freezing.

I found this read interesting though: https://domesticgeekgirl.com/food-recipes/otakus-rejoice-you-can-eat-sushi-while-pregnant/

I ate Sushi last pregnancy too bc the no Sushi recommendation never made much sense to me knowing about safety standards in restaurants.
