How did you feel when you found out?: Excited, scared and a bit shocked (even though we were tryimg!)

How did they react?: Extremely excited and happy
How did the daddy react?: Excited but he didn't trust the test's accuracy.

Telling the grandparents!

How did your parents react?: They were pleased. It's was nice they had the same reaction for our baby as with my other sisters as our LO is their 8th GC
How did his parents react?: Over the moon.
Are they helping with baby names?: Lots of suggestions.
Have they bought anything for the baby yet?: They brought lots of stuff which we are eteranly grateful for.
How often do they call to check on you?: Every few days throughtout my pregnancy and after she was born.

When is your due date?:23rd Janauary 2010, she was born 17th January 2010.
How far along are you?: 9 months Post!!!

Weight now?:just below 8st - I've had an over active thyroid so just starting to get back to normal.
Have you had any ultrasounds?: one at 11wks 3 days, gender scan at 17 weeks and anomaly at 20wks 3 days.
Have you heard the heartbeat? Every ante natal from 16 weeks plus 2 emergency visits and lots during labour

Are you finding out the sex or will you wait until birth?: Found out we were having a girl at 17 wk private scan.
What do you want?: I always thought I wanted a boy but can't imagine not having a little girl now.

How did your parents react?: They were worried for us about going through another loss but were happy for us.
How did his parents react? They were worried too as I delivered our previous baby in their bathroom so they saw everything and didn't want us to go through that again. They were a nightmare from about 12 weeks though.

Have they bought anything for the baby yet?: Ohs parents brought something at 12weeks which was insensitive seeing as our last baby was a late loss but my parents started buying after the anomoly scan.
How often do they call to check on you?: My mum called every day, OHs mum called him as we're not that close.

What do you want?: I honestly didn't mind so long as they were healthy and would've been thrilled with either. Now i've had my little girl though I can't imagine it being any other way.
What does the daddy want?: I think he wanted a girl and his face lit up when the sonographer told us she was a girl .

Do you know what you are taking with you?: I had my bag packed from 30 weeks because I was 7 weeks premature.
Who is going to be with you?: Phil was with me.
Are you going to videotape it?: No.
Natural or medicated?: I tried to go as far as I could naturally but I needed to have a forceps delivery as she was stuck so had an epidural incase they needed to do an emergency c-section.
Do you think you will need a c-section?: I was close to it but they managed to get her out.
Will you cry with you hold your baby for the first time?: I cried buckets.
Do you think the daddy will cry?: Hew shed a little tear but had a massive grin on his face.
Do you know what you will say to the baby when you first hold him/her?: I said "Hi Evelyn". We were waiting until she was born to decide on her name but when she was placed on my chest I just knew that she was Evelyn.
Are you scared about the labor?: I wasn't scared at all but I had a very traumatic birth so i'll be more scared about the next one if i'm lucky enough to have another child.
