Pregnancy symptoms. Help Appreciated :)

Hello everyone,
I'm 18 and have been having regular sex with my boyfriend. I'm on the pill, but for the past few days i have had really tender breasts..felt more tired than usual and have felt quite bloated. I have never felt like this before and have been thinking constantly that i'm pregnant. My period isn't due for 11 days, do i have to wait until then to see if my period comes or not or can i take a test earlier? Thanks for reading guys xx

You can take a test a few days before your missed period, a First Response Early Response. If you are pregnant though, it may take longer for your hormones to be strong enough to show a positive on a hpt. So test again if your period doesn't come and if you get a negative before your period, just to be safe

I had been on the pill for months, much like you having regular sex too. My last period was in November. The following month like clock work I came off the pill again, but nothing happened. I originally put it down to christmas stress and it was nearing my birthday too. I started taking the pill again until I started getting awful cramps. By the 11th I came off it again, because I started to worry. Nothing showed, but I didn't expect it to. Weeks passed and still nothing came, thus me taking three tests all which showed positive.

The pill isn't always the saftest contraception. Some people still advise using a condom, but the lad normally rebels considering that's the point of the pill.

I'd wait until you're due to come on. Tender breasts could just be a sympton that your period is dawning. If nothing happens within 3days after coming off the pill, take a test.

If your period is not due for 11 days then it is too early for you to experience pregnancy symptoms. You can test when it's due, no sooner.

These changes can all be caused by the pill.

Hun, it's way too early for you to be experiencing pregnancy symptoms. If you're still worried, do a test in 11 days to rule it out

These symptoms are often caused by the taking the Pill. If you're taking it properly then it's not likely you're pregnant although it isn't 100% effective so it is still possible. Take a test in 11 days if your period doesn't show

You are in a very similar postition to me... except I over ran my pill pack, and i've been experiencing things i never usually experience, like sore boobs, (major bloating - today for the first time) What i think is morning sickness, tiredness, and lots of CM (sorry tmi) I would definately do a test if i was you... I did one today, but the test was dodgey, retesting tomorrow. Let me know how it goes!!

CM is the body's way of gearing up for a potential pregnancy. You will notice an increase in the cervical mucus leading up to ovulation.

It's really strange though..i have been on the pill for 10 months and have never felt like this before PLUS i had period-like cramps today and bled a bit eventhough my period isnt due for another week or so. Ohwell i guess i'll just wait a week and test then xxx
