Pregnant after MC 5 Weeks AGO!!

Hi All

I Had a MC On 7th april, Iv been waiting for my Cycle but nothing came, I then done a normal pregnancy test, and it had a faint line, I then didn't believe it so I done a digital one and it came back 'Pregnant 1-2'

SO I was soo shocked! I went to my doctor who confirmed it couldn't possibly be hormones from my MC, And he has referred me for a dating scan which im contacting midwife tomorrow about( Monday ) I feel pregnant again and havin symtoms, iv even started having sickness which I never before.
I Am over the moon happy but im also petrified,
maybe I caught to early, will it happen again! doc said there is no known complications as from what I went through this will be my 3rd pregnancy and im only 21 both the previous were silent misscarriages, I am just scared!

any stories or comments are welcome be nice to get to know a few people as I am new

Hello I had a MC at nearly 7 weeks on Jan 8th, then fell pregnant exactly 6 weeks to the day (Going by my dates, due date etc) I am now nearly 14 weeks pregnant with a very healthy baby! *touch wood!*

Hi Thanks and congrats

I Phoned my local EPU after explaining everything! she turned around and told me

" wait 4 weeks and re test as u can have hormone left in your body"
so I was arguing with her telling her I wont wait for a scan as im at high risk!
They don't half make u stress! I know the hormone is still in ur body but you also know when your pregnant, even thou im early I can still feel something there and no AF

Congratulations on your bfp. I had an MC on 15th November, conceived on 11th Dec and bfp on 22nd December, i'm now 24 weeks pregnant

I found out 5 weeks after my miscarriage that I was pregnant again, I had my doctor check my levels right away then 2 days later also I had her check my progesterone and that came back very low they started me on a supplement and I am now 14 weeks along.

My doctor did an early ultrasound to get my edd and when I went I was 5 weeks along so you couldn't see anything yet then I went the following week. Congrats!!

Hi update : I Wasn't pregnant, I still had OLD hormones in my body due to the hospital didn't complete my MC my HCG Is still 24 was 28 2 days ago im not upset thou as im only young gonna keep trying : )

Sorry to hear that Kelly. Mine is definitely new, went from 31 to 115 in less than 48 hours. Just hope it lasts!

Ahhh I'm so scared of that happening. I had a chemical in April, I already had a negative test when I started bleeding. I got my BFP about a week ago, my lines have been getting darker, but I'm so scared they're gonna say its leftover

I'm 23.5 weeks and I'm still scared after my miscarriage in the last pregnancy, so yes, I would agree.

But, logically, if you had a negative, and then got a subsequent positive, I'm not sure how it could be leftover.

Yup. It never ends. I swore I would relax after a good 12 week nuchal translucency scan. Then I swore I would relax after a good 20-week anatomy scan. Well, here I am, 23 weeks, I swear I will relax when I hit viability day on Saturday....yeah, right.

Its exciting to fall pregnant after a mc. We lost our baby dec 23 after a mmc, 3 or 4 weeks later we were pregnant again. We are now 21 weeks. Good luck to you. Fingers crossed.
