Hi ladies
This is my first time posting and handed some answers if possible. My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage last December at 7 1/2 weeks. I am now 7 weeks pregnant after 9 months of trying. I started spotting early this week and I am so scared of miscarrying again. I went to the hospital and they said it could go either way.
My betas have been 16 dpo 225
18 dpo 450
22 dpo 2500
23 dpo 3800
30 dpo 25000
32 dpo 37600
34 dpo 43700
They have been going up but stopped doubling the last two is such a small increase and I'm still spotting. I have an ultrasound booked for Friday but I can't wait that long. Does this look like I will miscarry again. Please help.

Hi hun

I think it can go either way although I hope you are not having a mc.
My levels went up to 34,000 and my baby stopped growing 3 days later although my body didn't reject it. I did have brown spotting off and on for a few weeks but the doctors weren't concerned.
I am glad you have a ultrasound this week so you will get some answers:hugs::hugs:

Once your levels are high like yours it can take a while for them to double. They are rising which is good! With your numbers they should be able to see what is going on and hopefully have some answers. I know how hard it is to wait but try to stay as positive as you can. Is there any way to get in earlier? What did they see at the hospital? Hugs to you!

Thanks for the replys it so hard wondering what will happen. I can't get a ultrasound sooner so I will just need to wait till Friday. I had my hcg checked today and it was 51300 so it's still going up but no where near doubling.

But still rising at least:)
I think it's stops doubling at some point but not sure
Xx

I don't want to be a downer, but mine wasn't doubling either and it got up to 55000+ an I miscarried at 11+4. I hope everything works out for you. I really really do! Prayers honey!!

Well I had my ultrasound and I got so see my little baby with a HEARTBEAT of 145 and it measured 7 weeks and 3 days. I have had no more spotting but still a little worried about my numbers not doubling. Well I guess I just have to wait and see, and hope my little baby keeps growing.

Great seeing the heartbeat isnt it!! congrats girl
just relax now and enjoying it to the fullest

yay! congrats! hope you have a happy and healthy 7 1/2 more months:)

Hi just thought I would updat in case anyone else has a similar situation. I am now 13 weeks and baby seems to be doing perfect. I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks and the baby was moving kicking and even sucked it's thumb. At my doctors app the heartbeat was 156 they said it was good and strong! So then I believe once your numbers get high they don't have to be doubling for everything to be okay :happydance:

Just thought I would update again in case anyone else has the same question. I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl on may 31st. 7 pounds 1 ounce and I couldn't be happier. She is perfect. Don't give up hope if hcg stops doubling, after it gets higher I don't believe it still needs to be doubling.
