Hi Ladies and Gents
I am new to this site but thought I'd search from some support. Where do I begin...
My 1st (Dec 2005) pregnancy was pretty straight forward, I had an elected c-section at 38 weeks as my daughter was breach.
My 2nd pregnancy (Jan 2009) was ectopic I had surgery but fortunatly the tube was saved and the tube was flushed.
3rd pregnancy (Aug 2009) was going well until 29 weeks I had an accident which resulted in a substancial blow to the tummy. I had bleeding the following morning and was admitted to hospital. No one seemed to know what was wrong? I went into premature labour at 31 weeks (natural birth) but in the height of labour my placenta detached completely my DD was born but had been starved of oxygen for 7 mins she lived for 72 hours on the Neo-Natal Unit but we withdrew her care as she was so serverly brain damaged we were advised she would unlikely pull through let alone have any quality of life.
4th pregnancy (Dec 2009) ectopic self aborted
5th pregnancy (Dec 2010) ectopic I had the leathal injection to terminate it as it was of an unknown location.
6th due 28/07/2012... fingers crossed its all going well I'm now 12wks. After losing our daughter in Aug 2009 I had several blood tests taken and it was discovered I have Factor V Leiden (a blood clotting disorder) which I was born with and APS so I now have to inject every day with 7500 of fragmin and take a baby aspirin.
Obviously I am concerned but I'm staying positive and realise that alot of what happens is out of our control. I am concerned as to wheather I can have a natural delivery or wheather I would be better off having a c-section there are pros and cons to both. The main thing at the mo is taking one day at a time I suppose.
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Gemma
