I had a chemical in October 2012 and then a D&C on new years eve 2012 and have just found myself 4+1 weeks pregnant again. I do have more symptoms this time round but until a scan, i wont be able to relax. Any advice??

First off- very sorry about your previous losses. I would like to offer some wonderful advice that would take away the worry, but I really can't give you that. :hugs: The best thing I can say is to take it 1 day at a time. I did much better this time because I finally just accepted that I can't change what will happen and "if it's meant to be, it will". This doesn't work for everyone, though. Other advice I've seen is trying to keep busy, exercise (if you're up to it), do things that you enjoy to keep your mind occupied. The next 2-3 weeks are very nerve wracking and I hope they pass quickly for you. Best of luck and fingers crossed (fx). :hugs:

First I just want to say, great advice scarolinarn04. I too, went through exactly what you are. And a month after my d and c I was pregnant again. I was also very nervous, but quickly reminded myself what a blessing it was, and that everything happens for a reason. it is so easy to worry, and think the worst, but really, it just makes things worse. Like scarolinarn04 try to find things to keep you occupied, and take it one day at a time. It will get easier, and what I was told when I went to my very first visit, called my nerves. My OB told me now that you have gotten to 9 weeks, and there is a heartbeat there is only a 3 % chance of a miscarriage. I know you are only 4 but, you will make it :) Keep staying positive, and keep us posted on how everything is going. If you need anything, don't hesitate to get a hold of me. Best of luck to you.
