Presentation Scan Today

So I didn't think I would be getting another scan but turns out I do

LO is breech (Naughty!) and they think because he is so big and measuring well ahead, that he may not be able to move round and this could be stressing him out.. I have slept so rubbish the last two nights, that I think he's uncomfortable, hopefully they will be able to do something today for him!

I'm excited though Pointless thread! But YAY

Anyone else had a breech big baby that moved himself or with the docs help? They told me that if they can't move him, then I will be booked in for C-section, which I really want to avoid. x

My baby is head down but a friend of mine is going through the exact same thing! Her baby was breech until around 33-34 weeks so they booked her a scan which said baby is now head down. She went for her regular midwife appointment and baby is breech again! She has a scan booked for this week and if baby is still breech they will try to turn her but if not then she will have a c section. I don't know if her baby is big though sorry hun.

My first daughter was breech for most of my pregnancy but thankfully she turned herself before I went into labour! I wouldn't of let them turn her because its quite brutal and there's no gaureentee that it will work or that they won't just turn back.

Yeah they typically will try and move the baby..like flip him/her around. If my baby was breech now id rather have a c-section lol...ive heard turning the baby is really really painful,but ive also heard its not worth getting a c-section...but I wouldnt wanna chance it haha. Hopefully baby turns for you

Check out spinningbabies.com they have a bunch of good ways to get the baby to turn on his own and your Dr can do an exturnal version which is where they move the baby manually from outside your bump.
