Hi ladies. So at 27 weeks I went in to preterm labor, positive fft test, with contractions 3-5 minutes. They stopped it, and I've been on modified bed rest since.
We'll last week, they swabbed my cervix, and sent it off to the labs. I get a call today, saying I have a microplasma (probably misspelling this) and it can cause preterm labor..and I need to be on antibiotics. The nurse was so short with me on the phone, I couldn't get a word in. So now I'm confused, and called my doctor but she hasn't returned my call yet.
Can anyone shed some light? Have you experienced this?

*posted in third tri, but no response so I figured I'd try here*

Hopefully someone responds... I haven't heard of that. I've experienced nurses and clinic staff that lacked a little 'bedside manner' and it's very frustrating. Hoping you get more news soon so you can keep your baby cooking as long as possible!
