With my ds he had shoulder dystocia ( he got stuck)
He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and autism as a result
Had been dithering over c section or not thus time
But think I'm fairly decided on c section now.
I couldn't bear if I chose vag birth and had a reoeat
That I could hve avoided.
Hope my recovery goes well.
Dreading not being able to pick up Oh.
But think it has to happen to get his sibling here safe.
Now the nerves r creeping in
Least I knew how to do vag birth
I've already had one even though it was a bad one :)
Anyone else being sectioned ? Xxx

I'm having a repeat cesarean. I needed one with dd at 36 weeks and they didn't want to induce me because of her heart rate issues. My and my doctor's hopes for a vbac vanished quickly when we found out I'm having twins this time. My ob, mfm, and I all agree a repeat c-section is probably best given my situation and history.

Csections are scary but totally manageable. I'm happy to know more than 6 hours in advance this time!

I'm also concerned about not being able to lift dd also but at least I can pack my bags appropriately this time! I've learned my lesson about leaving them at home and will have a clothing bag in the car the whole third trimester this time! My husband is terrible at packing for me lol.

I think I will be. Like you last time there were too many complications. At least you also have the benefit of knowing exactly when they'll arrive so you can plan childcare and stuff. For me it's also a guarantee of not going overdue! I hated that last time!

Thanks ladies.
Hope both of urs go really well and recovery is as fast as can be xxx
Yeah its great to know timing
Nobody beyond Oh and me hve ever minded ds.
Ds labour was two days.
Id hate him to be without both parents that long
So its good from that respect.
Plus he us in meds for epilepsy.
This way dad still be home for them
I was induced a week early last time
So never over due.
Imagine its really not very nice
So good to avoid that too.
:)
Ds and me had to stay in 8 days after last time
So Oh brought me in stuff too.
Clothes that hadn't fit me since before pregnancy
Haha

Broody hi and congrats xx

Sounds like you are making the right decision, I would choose a section too! X

I had made up my mind
But Oh threw a,spanner in the works by finally voicing his opinion
And he thinks vag birth.
I'm not entirely sure why,
But seems pretty against the section.
Doh.
My consultant said he would decide with me next app.
In 7 weeks.
So will hold off on firm decision till then .
Half thinking of trying but with section on stand by at any sign of nonprogression.
But the more I'm reading the less I want to take the risk.
Why am I crap at decisions .
Thanks for advice xx

If it were me, personally, I just would not want to risk it! Unfortunately its not your OH's decision to make...it is 100% up to you.

Ive decided on c sec..
I have a bilobed placenta ( when the placenta is split into 2 equals halves) and run risk of hemorrhage as one of the halves can get attached to arteries.. or one of the halves can get stuck and doctors would have to go in and get it manually after birth wich is apparently very painful... so im opting for a c sec

Thanks a mil ladies xxx
Hope all goes great for ye xx
Prob will do a section id say.
I'll see what Dr thinks next time I see him too.
But not sure if I'm willing to take any chances.
Thank ye x
