i gave birth to DD in Canada. i was induced with her due to my heart issues. they gave me
syntocinon through the drip. i found my labour very quick with that and from starting the drip to Brooke being born it was under 7hrs. im wondering if they offer you Syntocinon straight away here in the UK ? I've heard other methods can take different amounts of time to work ? i think im worried a little, last time round i was given an epidural not long after the Syntocinon was started as they didn't want me to feel contractions in case my heart reacted badly to the stress and pain. so all this is feeling new again. i need to ask my specialist next week my birth plan as im starting to panic now. xx
