prewashing issys

well my bob issy from Oz arrived today and i am prewashing it ready for Alfie, how many washes shall i put it through its on its 1st wash with half detergent, washing it with some my other nappies, bg aio, mommys touch aio and happy heinys pockets, how many washes shall i do? would two 60 degree washes be enough

i would say 2.

I do 1 40 degree and then 5 quick rinses.

I couldnt wait that long so did one wash (I always do a 30degree 30minute cycle), I have to get Issy's on Noahs bum quick!!

yep when alfie decides to come hope i dont have to wait till like 39-40 weeks for my c section x

I can never wait to use my issys so only give them one wash. I've never had problems with leaking in the first uses.

according to the site the inserts are actually prewashed to near max absorbancy anyway, I've only every done one wash when they arrive and then used them and never had a leak, they really are THE thirstiest inserts and work great in WNOS as well!
