Private scan due to bleeding.

I will be having a private scan tomorrow at 10 +4. I have had some bleeding and cramping today and a general lack of symptoms. Local epu not bothered unless soaking through sanitary towels. My actual scan isnt until 30th. Im so worried tomorrow will bring bad news.

I can't believe your epu won't see you! That's disgusting. Hopefully baby is snug and sound and the bleeding has a benign source

I had bleeding in both my pregnancies with period type cramps at around 8 weeks.. not massive amounts but bloody discharge. Both times I was seen at epu and scanned.. my first baby is now 2 years old and my second baby was there with a little heartbeat. Hope all goes well for you x

I had bleeding at 8 weeks with my son. Turned out to be a SCH, everything was fine and my son will be 3 in October. Try not to worry, momma.

Thanks ladies. It wasnt a huge amount of blood, but enough to freak me out with the cramps. I have barely had any symptoms this pregnancy. The woman I spoke to at epu sounded like she wasnt interested. I happened to mention private scan to DH and he said yes book it. So grateful there is a babybond just a few miles away. Its at 3.30. Im hoping it was just a one off and nothing to worry about.

I had bleeding in both my last pregnancy and this one. All the way through first trimester. They never found the cause in my last pregnancy, it wasn't affecting the baby and everything was fine.

In this one they've not found the cause either, but again, baby seems fine. I have had 5 scans so far, all at EPU, although you've got to be rather forceful! My official 12w scan is on Thursday. I know baby is still there though as i bought a doppler for my peace of mind which really helps.

My last bleeding was just over a week ago, i was just over 11 weeks and it was a Saturday, i went to A&E and after 4 hours waiting they said that it was against their policy to scan on weekends! ridiculous! I had to wait until the Tuesday after.

My EPU were fab! I had 3 early scans due to bleeds, and a clot around baby! I also had private scan at 9+4 and 10+6. Iv been so anxious this pregnancy
