problem with subscribed threads

in subscribed threads i keep getting threads showing up as having new posts (appearing on subscribed threads) but there has been no more posts.
when i click on it, it shows the thread how it was then...despite knowing that i or others have sinse posted on it.

its slightly annoying, i cleared my cookies but its still doing it.

It's not cookies you need to clear, it cache

hate to be a pain, but its still doing it even after clearing cache
