Problems with Silvercross Surf?

Our Chassi has locked and won't fold down! I've taken it into the shop and silvercross are sending us a loan chassi whilst ours is sent back to be fixed.

Has anyone else had problems?

I still love my pram though

I've not had that problem, but my hood kept popping off when i put the hood down and I'm waiting on a new wedge being sent for the newborn bit because he really doesnt lie flat in it! His poor little bum was sticking right up in the air!

How does your baby like it? I haven't had my little man yet, so I can't tell what its like with a baby in Did you get the carrycot or just go for the lie flat option? I bought the carrycot & Ventura S carseat - can't wait to try it all out in less than 3 weeks!

Ooooo I'm jealous, my husband wouldn't let me get the surf, he said it was too expensive! It's totally my dream pram though, aaaah! It's so simple and modern looking...is it as nice as it looks?

Yeah its really gorgeous. I bought it in slate with a black chassis and the blue and white blankets I have really go with the pram it's really a modern pram like you said, that's why I like it. The shopping basket is small, and the new clip on one they bought out is a bit small but defo an improvement. I hope when I start using it, it'll live up to it's expectations because I paid a whole lot for it lol I hope LO will be comfy in it too, but I'm sure he will be - it looks so cosy and snug I did a thread awhile ago that has loads of pics in if anyone wants to have a look - https://www.babyandbump.com/pregnan...-my-long-awaited-silvercross-surf-thread.html

I LOVE my surf!
He didn't look like he laid flat with his nest but it turned out we didn't have it in right and now he fits in nicely
The pram is so lightweight, it's brilliant! I have the snug for it and Tristan looks so comfortable and warm in it!
The basket is a bit small (I have the new add on basket too) but as we take the car to do big shops it doesn't really matter. It's big enough for the little bits I get in town.

Hiya - my baby also doesn't look like he is flat in his Surf and its really annoying and worrying me - Can I ask what u did to fix it - Silver Cross haven't been very helpful, would appreciate it as I have tried to put it back in a few times and to me he still looks wonky!.

I have the snug in aswell, I pull the nest up so that the padded bit around the top goes over the snug and looks like it won't fit but then I tuck it into the snug and it lays flat

Thanks I am using a snug too - will try that - have you used it without the snug, does ur baby's bottom it up when lying down?

I've had my LO now, but havent used the pram yet will get round to it soon though, maybe a walk to the shops is in order!

OMG it's a dream!!!! I ha a massive walk with LO down to my mums the other day. It's truly magical to push! The suspension is great, steering is so easy and smooth. I have the carrycot & LO looked so snug and comfortable and most importantly he was covered up well and not exposed to the elements. I love love love it! Still yet to experience any prolems with it.

Is there any specific you want to know hun?

What cars are people using it in?

In the shop yesterday they didn't have the carrycot only the main body to try in car. What cars are people using these in?

I have a Peugeot 207, but am having problems with some prams & taking off fiddly wheels!

I have this pram also... baby looks out of place in the nest so a little worried i haven't put it in properly... any tips????

Ronnie - we have a compact BMW. What we did was measure our boot & then looked at the dimensions of the pram folded. We went to mama & papas and put...I think the joolz on the boot & I think the carrycot & frame had similar measurements to the surf
