progesterone and clomid

HI! I'm 24 years old and I was diagnosed with PCOS. I just had an ultrasound and no cysts but not ovulating and irregular cycles so my OBGYN is putting my on progesterone and clomid to help us conceive. I was wondering if anyone is or has had successful pregnancies with this combo? I was taking metformin at first but now its not working. my other question is will I absolutely need the trigger shot and if so how much does it cost?

Good luck! Have PCOS and been TTC for 2 years. Also have male factor. We're on our 2nd frozen trasnfer IVF. I never did ovulate on Clomid or on Femara so I'm wishing you much better luck!
