Hello! Quick question for any of you ladies with either longer cycles, taking progesterone supplements or with late BFPs- I am officially 2 days late, which I've NEVER been; I'm usually exactly on time (26 days) or early, but never late. I should be happy, but since I'm taking progesterone I understand there may be some wackiness with my cycle.

The progesterone supplements or pregnancy have/has been really kicking my butt- I'm SO FRICKIN' TIRED! All I want to do is sleep- I have literally slept through 4 monitoring appointments. Thankfully the RE's nurse just told me I don't have to take a blood preg test in the morning so I can try to make it after work (although if I take a morning one they will have results by the afternoon; otherwise I will have to wait until the next day and tomorrow's Friday so HELL NO am I waiting the weekend).

Besides venting, my question is this- I keep getting BFNs. Not enough a legitimate squinting line. Is it realistic to keep the faith at 15dpo? My bbt dropped a bit but started going up again. All of my usual charting methods (OPK, CM, BBT) have been thrown out the window.
From everything I read, progesterone doesn't stop AF from coming if she's going to come; is that true?

i will get the blood test tomorrow if I don't oversleep!

This is my chart: https://ovufriend.com/graph/96841e6161d71a867ae52f4478dbb1d4

Thanks for any input you can give me!

Hi--progesterone can definitely make you tired. I slept like a rock when on it, though it didn't make me sleepy during the day. Everyone handles it differently, though. And it can prevent AF from coming, if you are on a high enough amount. I have been on progesterone when it has prevented AF and on a different type and amount that did not prevent AF. I think it's still possible that you could get a BFP, but it is highly likely that the progesterone is to blame here. Hope this helps!

It absolutely does help, thanks! Everything I was reading said that your period should come, but now knowing the protesterone could be the culprit, I will try to calm down. Easier said than done of course. But I'm down to 1 hpt a day so that's helpful...

I wish you all the luck in the world!
