Progesterone increasing pregnancy Symptoms in TWW

Well my AF arrived tonight after having all the symptoms under the sun this past 2 weeks i'm so upset.

but my mum had a fair point this evening. i had my progesterone levels done on CD26 (works out day 21 bloods) and it came bk at 50.3

this is alot higher then the last months. So could this of made my body think i was preg and give the signs??

its one thing i need to sort of know so i know its not my mind thats messing with me even tho my body is a mess and not normal thats why i have medication and problems

so if someone can share a little light on this then please do thanks

I was the same this month too honey. I have been on clomid this was my second round and my progesterone was higher than normal for me at 37.4... all the symptoms you could think of then this morning at 12dpo.

So sorry hun I know just how you feel. Hope you feel better soon

Your Mum's right - some symptoms especially sore boobs are influenced by progesterone - but weirdly I don't think it always correlates that the higher the progesterone, the greater the symptoms. I am on cycle 5 of Clomid after trying for over a year and every cycle I obsessively symptom-spot only to be disappointed! I am on 150mg this cycle but I had my progesterone tested at 7dpo during my second cycle at 100mg and it was 65.5 - so like you - pretty darned high!

I agree with MrsHY, progesterone is linked to sore boobs, so wouldn't be a surprise if it helped with the others. x
