hi

Finally got my progesterone levels back. At 7dpo of a long cycle (ovd cd35) they measured 19.7...all she said was that was slightly below borderline.... If i wanted to know more i had to book an appointment with another doctor who specialises in gynae/fertility stuff :dohh: her next available appointment is 28th april so have booked it...but hopefully by then I will know if this cycle has been successful or not

So is 19.7 ok? xx

I'm really confused about it all, my Dr told me they like to see anything above 10? My levels were 9, my gynae app is 23rd fingers xd for you hun xxx

A level above 3 "suggest" ovulation...above 10 indicates that ovulation has occurred but may have to supplement with progesterone if you get a bfp that cycle...levels above 20 are ideal.

thank you for clearing that one up for me Curligurl  I was very confused

hanks ladies, so it looks like my level of 19.7 is fine! xx

Right ladies!!

My friend is a gp and I asked her as I am also going though this.

Its either measured in nmol/L or nmg/l

Mine was 18.6nmol/L at my 21 day bloods, this equals 5.6 nmg/l.

Ovulation is between 5 -10 so my 5.6 is on the low low side.

If counting in nmol/L as I 'think' the OP is, then you are also on the low side as it should be able 30 or for a v fertile female is around 50 x

I've never hear 19.7 being considered low for TTC. That is higher than what I have being pregnant (with supplements!) yes I have extremely low progesterone.

My NaPro dr checked mine I had 8! So I started supplements and got to 13. My dr prefers it over 15 for 7dpo. So you are in the clear!

Sounds like you are perfectly fine. I strongly recommend NaPro drs to help make sure your cycle is "normal" and help you fix anything not.
