Hey all...I'm confused by my levels.
Here are my CD3 levels:
E2 18
P4 0.2 - 0.4
The other day my levels were:
E2 262
P4 0.7
2 20+ MM follicles on left
3 14+ MM follicles on right
24 hours later:
E2 249
P4 0.8
20mm and 22mm on left
16, 16, 15mm on right
*All follicles clear, none echoic indicating cystic structures*
Triggered that night (Tuesday 4/14) with Hcg shot
Went in Friday (4/17) am for release u/s = inconclusive. They couldn't tell if I ovulated. In fact, it appeared that the 22mm follie had grown to 25mm. The difference is before the Hcg shot, that follicle was clear, and on 4/17 it was echoic (meaning cystic I think). Since the u/s was inconclusive, they had me do a P4 test. That came back at 1.18.
My question is - does the released follicle expand in the hours following ovulation, before shrinking back down?
Is the important indicator by my P4 level that it rose significantly? IF I was one of the odd people who didn't ovulate within 36 hours, but say 48 hours after the shot, making ovulation Thursday night around 8PM, would the follicle - which was clear and became echoic - be enlarged on u/s and would my P4 level not be that high yet?
Does anyone know about these things? UGH!
