Right, long story short - I found out last week that I have high prolactin levels (700) after getting a blood test organised after producing milk from my left nipple for a couple of weeks. I am currently on my 5th round of clomid (I have PCOS).
I called the fertility clinic and told them and they seemed fairly worried and said I should come in asap for some more tests and treatment. Unfortunately their "Asap" is an appointment a month away.
High prolactin levels are obviously a real hindrance to TTC - I can't believe I have to waste another month and another month of clomid before I'm even seen by someone!
Do you think my GP could help in anyway? I've booked an appointment for Thursday but not holding my breath.
I'm also wondering, as high prolactin levels can stop ovulation - as I'm being forced to ovulate through clomid (which works fine every month), will those levels really matter?
