Is this the right area to talk/ask about PROM? x

Absolutely. There are many of us who have been there (except me I'm sorry) and I am sure the ladies here can help

Thanks.
Here is my story of the last few days..
Wednesday 20th Feb
I'd spent the day doing the housework and finished the mopping at around 7.30pm and then sat down to relax for a bit. At around 7.50pm I got up to go do the washing up and had a huge gush of water. It wasn't enough to be my 'whole' waters but there was enough to completely soak my pad, knickers and trousers!!
I waited for OH to get home at 8ish then called the hospital. Labour ward told me to come straight in. I got to the hosp about 8.30pm, gave a urine sample (clear with small trace of blood), blood pressure and temp taken and was put on the CTG for half hour then waited for a doctor to come check me.
Got seen by the doc at around 10pm and she checked babies position (breech) did an internal and said she couldn't see any fluid on my cervix and i wasn't dilated at all. She took a swab and she said it could be one if 3 things: urine, a build up of discharge or my waters. She made it sound like my waters was the least likely explanation as she couldn't see any fluid but said she would request a scan the following day to check anyway. I then got discharged.
Thursday 21st Feb
Was woken about 3am with another smaller gush of liquid which was enough to almost fill my pad but not as much as before. Both me and Dan smelt it and agreed it didn't smell like wee. It was also completely clear. Listened to bubs heartbeat which was fine and not wanting to disturb the kids and my Mum again we decided to go back to sleep and see what happened in the morning and see what the scan showed.
Woke up at about 7.30am, went to wee and there was a small amount of blood. It was pink rather than red and was only there when I wiped. Thinking it could be from the internal/cervix check i went to get back into bed to warm up - its FREEZING here - and see if there was any more blood and fell asleep again.
Got a call back at 3pm and was given a scan time of 9am the following day.
Went to the toilet at 7.30pm and there was MORE blood. Called the DAU who told me to come in. Got to the DAU at 8.30pm and was finally shown into the triage room at 11pm, gave another urine sample (clear with trace of blood) blood pressure & temp taken and was put on that CTG again. They really struggled to find bubs HB as she kept moving and as soon as they strapped on the monitor and walked away she would disappear, the alarm would go off and i'd have to call them back. After doing this about 8 times in the following 30mins they eventually gave up at 11.45pm and said it was 'good enough' and told me i would have to wait to see the doctor who would be about 40-45min.
Was finally seen by a doctor at just gone 3am. He told me to keep my scan apt (in 6hours time!) and he gave me another internal to check for any waters. He said baby was now head down and did a speculum. He said there was clear fluid in vaginal canal and then he took the speculum out there was a gush of pink waters!! I heard the MW say 'oh right, ok then, what do we do now' before they walked off. The doc came back about 15mins later and said he can confirm my waters have indeed broken (although thankfully not completely) and told me to speak to the MW about further action.
MW took my temp again and gave me a handful of temp strips telling me i need to take my temp every 4 hours except while sleeping. I also have to take anti bs 4x daily, go up to the DAU 2x weekly for CTG monitoring, have a steroid jab right there and then (OUCH!!) and again in 12hours. I was then discharged.
Friday 22nd Feb
Went to the hosp at 9am for the scan and the sonographer said that baby is indeed head down but because she is small she could move back again at any time. She said bubs is measuring a week behind (FL 61.2mm, HC 289.0mm, AC 261.0mm & EFW 1696.0g) but is still within the 'norm'. She confirmed my waters have gone but bubs still has enough for the time being. She said she has 'low end of normal' amount of amniotic fluid. Her deepest pool of fluid is 3.5cm by her legs.
Was back up the hosp at 3pm for my next DAU apt. Gave a urine sample (no results back) blood pressure & temp taken and had my blood taken. Got given the next steriods injection and put on the CTG.

Yesterday I spent most of the day sleeping as my Dad had taken the kids out but today i have woken up feeling like crap. I feel like i have a huge cold coming on, a few more smaller gushes of water and crampy/cystitis type pain :( I don't know if its because i am dehydrated from last few days (i only had around 5 hours sleep from weds-fri) and didnt drink nearly enough, if its because of the amount of water i have drunk today trying to make up for it or if it is a water infection? I have no one to look after the kids to go down to DAU but i do have an apt there tomorrow at 12pm so i don't know whether to just wait till then? I've done FAR too much googling and am getting myself all worked up about it all. I am so so scared of bubs coming early as aswell as the normal worries of a preemie, bubs also has micronathia, a possible cleft palate and a likely chance of having Pierre Robin Sequence. I just feel like its one thing after another atm i am just terrified of her not making it here alive

Hi hun. Pprom is scary stuff. My waters broke at 23 +4weeks, I got discharged n told to take temp, anti bocs rest ect but just to go on with normal life. I bled heavily after my waters broke. If there is blood it can irritate the uterus and cause it to contract. It is better to get checked out though, I made it four weeks with my lo and seriously must have been at the hospital every other day that I wasn't admitted. Try not to google though, google has the amazing ability to scare the s**t out of us xoxo. Ps its been 3 days how are you now?
