Prometrium / Progesterone side effects? What were Your experiences

Hi ladies, I have been on prometrium for the last few months in our assisted journey and just wondering what were your side effects?

Drugs and medications react differently with everyone so this may be a good resource for those who are just starting or wondering if their symptoms are the same as others in the same situation.


I have had a couple cycles where I felt NOTHING, But some cycles where I have significant reactions.

This month is a month of side effects!
Sore or tenders breasts
Dizzyness (if taken orally)
Nausea- only on an empty stomach
Heartburn
Slight headaches
Hungry all the time
Thirsty

Ive used progesterone suppositories the last 2 month. Off and on cramping the whole time. Headaches towards the end of cycle. And VERY sore boobs, like can't even brush up against them that they hurt!
