provera and clomid newbie

Hi ladies, right so im here i have just taken my first tablet of two today :s im extremely anxious and cant seem to settle down im expecting the worst to happen like side effects or worse yet no ovulation i dont want to do opks yet as i feel that just makes me to stressed. Ive been reading threads from other ladies but most of them dont seem to workk the first round
my partner is being very supportive, as i have just started a new job to and got myself into a state in case i did get pregnant that i wouldnt get maternity but he knows hw much this means to us so its all in my head now, trying to find things to occupy my mind lol
anyone in the same boat ?

Hi hun, there are loads of BFP's first time round so don't you worry about that! Are you getting monitored at all, any follicle tracking or progesterone tests to make sure you do ovulate on it? It hasn't worked for me but I have my next FS in April so am looking forward to the next step (possibly IUI) x

Hi hun no im not getting monitored and my gyne didnt say anything about going to the docs apart from if i need more provera, im only taking 2 tabs a day for a week and then 2-6 with clomid i keep trying to find someone the same as me but there dont seem to be anyone lol

If I'm honest I don't think the LTTC threads get as many viewers as the TTC threads so maybe post in there? There will be people trying a while but maybe not considering themselves as LTTC yet so don't come in here. So has your GP prescribed the clomid? Mine wouldn't do anything, I had to go to a FS at the hospital, my DH had a SA, I had blood tests, a HSG and got follicle tracking my first clomid round so I know it worked, though I'm not convinced I wasn't ovulating before the clomid, I only had one lot of blood tests & had regular cycles and always postitive OPK's... x

I'm waiting to start my first round so I totally see where you're coming from. Ive never been so anxious for my period to start so I can get this started. Even before I've started taking it I'm already scared it wont work. But keep your head up. Try and stay relaxed, stressing will do no good. It WILL happen.
