Provera & Clomid.....scared!!!

Hi,

ok.. i've only been on here for a day or two and am finding all the forums very helpful.

We're trying for our first baby, its been about a year now with no success.
doctor referred me to fertility clinic, where i was put on provera to bring on a bleed as i haven't had one for around a year also after coming on the pill.

The clinic started me on the clomid yesterday anyway, now just waiting for myself to ovulate!

i would love everyones experience with these drugs, hard times with it and success stories.
Its very scary for me as its my first and also i'm on 21 and having fertility treatment at my age is worrying.

Hello!

I'm also on provera and clomid, I have PCOS so I'm on metaformin too!

I'm currently on day 3 (I take clomid day 2 to 7) of my first cycle I dont have a clue how long my cycle is going to be as I haven't had a "normal" cycle for years!
I felt worse on provera! I felt sick all the time, I've only had my 2nd clomid so cant really comment much on that yet. I'm 22 (nearly 23! hehe!) we have been trying for 3 years and were NTNP for 1 year before that!

I have PCOS too!
Provera gave me the worst symptoms, i felt sick the whole time and always had mega hot flushes!

I took my second clomid this morning and already starting to feel a bit rotten.
Well at least we get a little glimpse into pregnancy through symptoms Haha.

You must let me know how it goes for you and i hope you get a BFP!!!

Oh so we are quite similar then
My metaformin has been doubled yesterday so I'm feeling very sorry for myself today! I feel sick and have the biggest headache ever! all due to the met.
The clomid is going ok, I take it when I get in from work in at 5ish then I don't have to drive anywhere because I go a little dizzy and light headed with it. But it is nothing compared to what provera was like!

All I had with clomid was a few hot flushes. If you don't get on with them, take them at night next cycle (if you need a next cycle!). Most people are worried with clomid as they have heard horror stories, then when they actually take it are pretty underwhelmed. It's not as bad as it sounds, honest! X
