Provera Side effects?

No sign of AF yet (stopped taking provera sunday night) Feeling quite rough atm, feeling sick on and off and have now got lower back pain out of nowhere.. are these side effects of provera? I thought the back pain might be sign of AF on her way, but never felt sick before because of it before...?

I take Provera all the time to induce AF and I don't recall ever having any side effects from it. Have you taken it before? I normally get AF 4 or 5 days after my last pill, but I've heard of it taking up to 2 weeks in some women. Are you sure you're not pregnant? That would, obviously, be a reason as to why AF hasn't shown up and would account for the symptoms you're having. Only reason I ask is because I got pregnant while taking Provera. Might want to check, just incase!

Thanks for your reply I'd love it if that were true but don't think it's possible tbh, I don't seem to ovulate naturally because I have PCOS. I haven't really dtd that much lately either tbh! lol I took a test last night just incase! but was bfn unsurprisingly! lol

You got pregnant while taking provera? did you find out after you took it that you were already pregnant or ovulate & concieve because of the provera?

I wish I knew, my OB never could tell me for sure, so it's still a mystery. I did an HPT right before I started the Provera and it was BFN. Took the Provera, AF never came. I want to say it was 2 weeks or so after my last Provera pill that I did an HPT and it was positive. So, that means either I was pregnant before and it was too early to tell, or I got pregnant while on Provera, which I hear can, indeed, happen. Just wish it would have stuck. I have PCOS, as well, and don't ever ovulate on my own, but I did that one time, and completely naturally. So, ya never know!
