Provera?

I'm starting Provera tomorrow to bring on AF. Everything I've read online about it scares me. Anyone have any experience with it? Anything I should know before taking it?

hi i was put on provera for one cycle because i had irregular cycles and was having inbetween bleeds. the tablets were suppose to control the inbetween bleeds. i had no problems, no side effects with provera. they didnt completely clear up the issue but improved it!!! hope this helps!!!

I've always had irregular cycles. But I got on BC for years, and didn't realize that once I quit taking BC I'd go back to being irregular again. Today is 42 days since LMP.

I called doc just to ease my mind, but I thought for sure she'd tell me just to wait and out and that this is normal, but she called me in provera and told me if I still don't start after this to come in for some tests.

I really wish I would have started TTC earlier now.

i know how u feel. i put TTC off for years for one reason or another and now i wish i hadnt have waited!!! i never had any issues with irregular cycles before BC but ever since getting the coil removed my cycles are all over the place. I'm sure u have done a pregnancy test, havent you???? hope the provera regulates your cycles for u!

oh yeah, i've taken about 30 tests.

I never thought I'd have any issues getting preg. Just assumed I'd be fertile myrtle as soon as I got off the pill....

Hopefully we will both get BFP's soon.

Hey hun = I took Provera end of Dec = I had skipped two periods because of my PCOS. I did have a heavy flow for just under a week but I guess it was flushing everything out. After 5 years TTC I fell pregnant that cycle.
