Hi guys

Have finally managed to see my gynae last week and he has prescribed 10mg of provera for 10 days to make me have a period. (after10 months)

Then from when i bleed, cycle day 2 i start Clomid.

Well my question is this, i have taken 8 tablets of provera so far. Today will be my 9th. I was told i will bleed 3-5 days after the course! Well this morning i have come on.
I haven't even finished my course.

Is this a good or bad thing? Do i stop taking it and look to start clomid tomorrow?

I also took provera but did not experience this. I have read that some girls on here are told to stop the provera and consider this cycle day 1. Hopefully, someone will have experience with this. Good luck and fingers crossed for this cycle

I have finally got hold of gynae and he has said what you said. Stop taking the provera and count this as cycle day 1. Start clomid tomorrow.

That is great! So now you can get started on Clomid. Your body was probably ready to shed after 10 months Good luck with this cycle

Hiya, glad you got it sorted. Im 5 days ahead of you But I was only on 5 days of Provera and started my period 3 days after stopping the last pill - so just like you on day 8 since the first tablet! May be it's quite common then to start on day 8

If you don't mind me asking - did you use Clomid for your beautiful baby girl??

PS: we are also ttc since October 2009
