Hi everyone, hope someone can help I was diagnosed as having PSO 5 years ago after not having a period for 2 years, I have recently (6 months ago) been having regular periods but now they have vanished again is this normal I do get very light spotting at the time that my period is due but nothing else. Been trying for a baby for the last 3 years but doctor wont prescribe anything as my hubbie doesnt want to get his sperm tested and says it will happen naturally if its meant to be was kind of hoping that with the return of my periods that it may happen naturally but now theyre stopping again I dont stand a chance, does anyone have any advice???
thank you

Oh my, your husband is refusing to get his sperm tested? I don't think I could handle that on top of already having my own issues. How can you possibly know what the issue is, you're running 50% blind. I'm sorry you have to go through this situation.
Have you tried taking Inositol orNAC for ovulation if you have PCOS? I'm wishing you lots of :dust:

Can you not ask your Dr to refer you on gynae grounds rather than fertility? If you don't have AF you have a (slightly don't panic) higher risk of endometrial cancer. I found out through this I have PCO which affects my health, you could have something too which needs investigated beyond PCO. I honestly don't mean to scare you, just give you reasons for the Dr to refer you. Mine referred me to gynae first, then they referred me to fertility clinic.

As for AF my consultant said you can ovulate occasionally with PCO, so maybe this is what happened. Basically never loose hope!

I'd say OH is the bigger issue though. My OH was really nervous but basically he has to w**k into a cup. It's not painful or invasive like anything women have to go through. I know he may be scared by the prospect of bad results but surely what he's putting you through is worse surely. There's no harm in giving nature a hand in what's meant to happen.

Sorry if this came out a bit blunt, I can never judge text online! Good luck,:dust:
