this may sound a bit stupid but i think that my gagging has become a learned behavior. i gag all the time and it started in the first tri but i was sure it would go away by the second and it hasnt.

i just feel the need to gag, like its a release somehow. has anyone else felt this way, or even if you havent do you think ive taught myself to do it when i dont really need to??

sorry to sound like a bit of a loony

Never heard of it but I'm not surprised though at all. I have thrown up so many times during this pregnancy that's it really feels like a hobby some days, not cool at all. Do you notice that certain things trigger your gagging? Could it be certain smells or even colours? Perhaps there is something you subconsciously can't be around for very long. I'm sure that as you get further along it will go away though.

thanks mango,
smells def trigger it, but they dont even have to be bad smells, just changing from one room to the next and it smelling different makes me want to gag
im sure it will eventually go away but sometimes i think im gonna be gagging and eating like a 5 year old for ever.
