my friends laughed when i told them cuz i was excited i dnt get y they r such jerks, but anways i applied for a job at the local library yesterday its only 20hrs aweek but its better than nothin but thought u guys would understand alil more

I genuinely wish I worked at a library. Plus - is it the council library? Council jobs are good I used to have a council job.

ahh i think tht would be a great job, i cant imagine librys to get too busy & plus there dead quiet and stuff. Loads better than working in a busy shop or something

Not sure about what it's like in the US but being a librarian over here in the UK is a really good job. They train you up and you can get qualifications and everything. It can be very well paid too at times.

my OHs mum is a librarian, its a pretty good job, you can work your way up and they train you and everything so that youre paid more. i wish i worked surrounded by books everyday, im such a nerd! hope it goes well, and 20 hours a week is a good amount of time, not too long away from your LO but enough for it to be worth the money
