Q about when to change teats.

Olivia is now 2wks + 5 days old, and generally takes 4oz at each feed. But I'm beginning to wonder if she needs the faster flow teats.........she seems to be sucking really hard at the start of the feed, but then once she's had half the bottle, she seems to lose energy (if that makes sense), and will often fall asleep for 5 mins before finishing the bottle.
It's making me wonder if she's having to work so hard that it tires her out.......and so I wondered if I should get the next stage teats?? Also, she seems to swallow a lot of air.

I swapped May at 4 weeks as she started falling asleep and taking about an hour to finish a bottle....also looking a bit tired out by the whole experience. She is on Avent 2 now which are still suitable for newborns but advertised as 1 month plus. I would get them in (you'll need them anyway) and try her for a feed with one. A book I have says that if they cough and splutter a lot then its too soon and swap them back. May finishes a bottle in about 20 mins now and only splutters a tiny bit (which she did on the old ones anyway)
