I was talking with a co-worker who is an occupational therapist about Violet's various tactile sensitivities and she lent me a book called "Qigong Massage for Your Child with Autism." It also has a DVD that goes with it. She said that although the technique was researched for and written in reference to children with autism, it works well for kids who even just have a sensory processing challenge. Has anyone here tried this method specifically or another massage technique to help their kid? And does your child have autism, a sensory processing challenge, or another challenge that is being addressed by the massage?
